Without an account (anonymous play):

• Anonymous Player ID — A randomly generated UUID stored on your device. This is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account.
• Puzzle Completion Data — When you solve a puzzle, the puzzle number, your solve time, and the solved board state are sent to our server for the scoreboard and to verify the solution is valid.
• Device Info — Basic technical request information (such as browser type) may be recorded server-side for debugging and compatibility. This information is not used to identify users.

With an account (optional sign-in):

• Email Address — If you sign in, your email is stored for authentication. We send a one-time magic link (no password required).
• Display Name — A name you choose, shown on the scoreboard and your profile.
• Gameplay Progress — When signed in, your level progress, achievements, EXP, diamonds, ELO rating, grades, and streak data are synced to our server so you can access them across devices.

Sign-in uses email magic links — a one-time link sent to your email. No passwords are stored or required.

Scoreboard data and account data are stored on a server operated by the developer. No passwords are stored — authentication uses magic links and JWT tokens. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.

Game progress is stored locally on your device. When signed in, progress is also synced to our server using a MAX-merge strategy (highest values are always preserved).

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do, your account information and associated cloud game progress are permanently deleted. You can also sign out at any time, which clears local game data on your device without deleting your account or cloud progress.

Scoreboard and account data are retained indefinitely to maintain historical rankings and cross-device sync. You can reset your local player ID at any time by clearing the app's data.
